GARRY GRICE
Garry Grice is a tenor whose repertoire of 50
roles bridges from the dramatic Italian and French
roles such as Otello, Radames, Manrico, Canio,
Achilles and Don Jose, to Heldentenor roles
Florestan, Erik Max, Bacchus and Lohengrin, with such distinguished companies as New York City Opera, Bavarian State Opera, Milwaukee Florentine, Calgary and Des Moines Metro Opera, among many others. A number of Mr. Grice's operatic roles and concerts have been televised in the US, Canada and Germany.

As opera producer and director, he has served as
artistic director of Indiana Opera North for eight
years, head of the voice and opera depts at Indiana
University at South Bend (4 yrs), and was the
director of opera theater and taught voice at the
University of Notre Dame for six years.  He was
opera producer and director for Quisisana Opera
(ME) and Inspiration Point Fine Arts Colony in
Arkansas.  He has also produced and directed operas
at the Shawnee Playhouse and directed area college students in a production of Die Fledermaus in Mountainhome in Aug. 07.

In 2003, he added Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk with
Baltimore Opera, Christian Badea conducting.    Mr.
Grice recently sang the title role in Verdi's Ernani and Florestan (Fidelio) in Philadelphia as well as Otello in Atlantic City, a Concert in Ocean City, NJ, and A Gala With 3 Tenors at Bethany Beach Summer Festival.  Upcoming performances include:   A Gala With Three Tenors, Bethany Beach July 08 and in Philadelphia Oct. 08, Nabucco with Martin Knoblauch, Otello in St. Nicholas Church Philadelphia, Oct. 08, Aida in Dec. 08, L'amore dei tre re April 09 and Nabucco in Sept. 09.

Garry studied with Hubert Kockritz, head of the voice dept. at Cincinnati Conservatory and Adelaide Saraceni in Milan, Italy.
