Prague Classes Postponed to 2009
Spend a week immersed in singing in the unbelievable, breathtaking beauty that is Prague!
Whether you are a serious high school singer or an adult church choir member, this week offers something for you.

Prague, virtually untouched during the war, offers palaces, cathedrals, quaint cobblestone streets and other amazing sights that have stood for hundreds of years and are all within walking distance.
Classes are sponsored by Charles University and take place at the Jan Deyl Conservatory.  Tuition includes a room at the dormatory, a sumputuous breakfast buffet and all your classes.  A typical day includes one or two voice lessons, masterclasses, guest recitals, sometimes a student recital and plenty of free time for sight-seeing and practice.  Last year's tuition was 550. Euros (approx. $738. dollars US).  At this time, a plane ticket to Prague is approx. $650. out of Newark puchased online.

Some of the past attendees from the Stroudsburg area include:  Erin MacMillan (junior music major Moravian U.), Shannon Giffels (senior music major Muhlenberg), Michael Yasenchock (music director Saint Luke's), Janice Lee (choir director Stroudsburg HS), Sara Ferguson (professional soprano), Laura Polizzotto (graduate Stroudsburg HS),  and Matthew Cavanaugh (graduate Stroudsburg HS).
