PRIVATE VOICE LESSONS
	Private voice lessons are taught in 1/2 hour and 1 hour segments.  Half hour lessons in Nanticoke are $15.00 and 1 hour lessons are $30.00.  In Stroudsburg, half hour lessons are $20.00 and 1 hour lessons are $40.00 to cover the cost of studio rental.  We accept vocal students no younger than 12 years of age without a trial lesson to determine  if the student is ready.  For younger children, we strongly suggest piano lessons to build a strong musical base.  We teach a bel canto technique which can be applied to any style of singing.  The first half of each lesson consists of vocal warm-ups and the second half is for repertoire.  We encourage new students to try a variety of styles, including folks songs, standards, classical art song and musical theater pieces.  We also encourage students to bring choir pieces, concert and audition pieces they need to prepare for school, church etc.  We try to make this a positive experience for both the amateur and professional, helping you to be the very best singer you can be.
						BEGINNING PIANO (Wilkes-Barre area only)
		Beginning piano lessons are taught by the Grice's daughter, Carolyn Barber.  Carolyn is an anthropology / art history major at Bloomsburg University and has been playing the piano since age 5.  As these are lessons for beginners, only half hour lessons are offered at $10. a lesson.  We strongly believe basic piano is a wonderful foundation for any other musical study.  Carolyn is a kind, caring teacher.
